Embed providers

currently almost every major social media platform has paywalled apis which makes it unreasonable for an instance operator to get them to make proper embeds work (for example reddit and twitter). so links from said social medias show up as just links and don't embed.

What i had in mind would be for instance operators to be able to specify domains (maybe with regex) and when the instance tries to embed those domains instead of directly requesting the site it switches the domain for something else (for example if someone sends an x.com link the instance instead does the request to fixupx.com) but when the user clicks they are sent to the original domain. This way we could have functioning embed without needing to pay expensive api keys.
