Current problem
Currently, Fluxer does not provide users with a centralized Account Standing page where they can review their overall account status, active violations, expired violations, and platform-level restrictions.
Users have no dedicated overview of their moderation history or a clear way to understand how previous moderation actions affect their current account status.
This makes moderation less transparent and can leave users uncertain about their account standing.
Proposed change
Introduce an Account Standing system similar to Discord's Account Standing feature.
Users should have access to a dedicated page displaying their current account status through five levels:
- All Good
- Limited
- Very Limited
- At Risk
- Suspended
- Violation reason and category
- Date of the violation
- Applied penalty or restriction
- Expiration date
- A history of previously issued violations that no longer affect the account status.
- An overview of currently active platform-level restrictions, such as messaging, uploading, or joining servers.
- The ability to submit an appeal against moderation actions directly from the Account Standing page.
Platform
Self-hosting
Additional information
Discord's Account Standing page is a good reference for the proposed user experience.
This feature would be particularly valuable for self-hosted instances, allowing instance administrators to provide users with a transparent and centralized moderation overview.
Ideally, the system should be configurable by instance administrators, with support for custom violation categories, restriction types, expiration policies, and account standing levels.
This request focuses on instance-wide moderation rather than automatically combining unrelated individual server moderation actions.
