Starting a DM call sends two notifications

Get a DM call
Join the call

Expected behaviour

I join the call and the ringtone stops on all devices

Actual behaviour

While I'm already in the call, there is a second popup advertising the call, and the ringtone on my other device keeps going. This seems to happen on both desktop and mobile. In fact, if I click join on mobile while already in the call on mobile, a popup appears warning that I'll leave the call I'm in to join the new call (the same call).
