Reproduction steps
- Have an account that was previously afflicted with #3641 and have all visible mentions cleared
- Get a notification from that account on mobile
Expected behaviour
The notification count goes up by 1
Actual behaviour
The notification goes up by (amount of dead pings, in my case 6) + 1.
