Configure channel specific notification preferences from the context menu

When right clicking on any channel and choosing "notification settings" in the context menu you'd expect to be configuring the notification settings for that specific channel. However, it opens up the general notification preferences of the entire server. Moreover i dont even think its possible to modify the unread badge configuration per channel. Channel specific overrides seem to only have actual notification settings, not unread badge settings! This singlehandedly renders this amazing feature useless! .

Yes, you're able to set channel specific preference even in the server settings, but that still takes an extra step. I think there is a better approach. When you right click a channel, click "notification settings", it takes you to the settings of that specific channel only. This makes sense! I right click a channel, click notifications, so i expect to change the notification preferences of that channel only.

Discord has a similar approach, i attached the screenshot of how it looks on discord. The extra step of specifying the channel is removed! its already channel specific. However, discord's approach isnt perfect either. That context menu is quite confusing and requires some cognitive load to fully understand each option. Thats why it would be great if you improved upon discord rather than copying directly.
