Typing indicator does not appear above the message composer in an open announcements channel

Reproduction steps

Someone else starts typing in an announcement channel
You see the typing indicator in the channel list
You click on the announcement channel
There is no typing indicator above the message composer
You click out of the channel
The typing indicator in the channel list is still going

Expected behaviour

I expected to see the typing indicator while looking at the channel too.

Actual behaviour

Typing indicators appear to be absent when looking at the announcement channel itself.
