Summary
I notice fluxer says it uses hardware acceleration with HEVC but looking at the screenshare itself on a Linux machine it doesn't look so great, idk if this is because the server is not fully ready for this or the tools used arent good enough for showing gameplay or lots of content. Discord is using this https://github.com/chromeos/cros-codecs to implement hardware encoding with linux right now so that you can use VAAPI on amd and intel and soon NVENC with nvidia gpus.Steps to reproduce
- Screenshare on alt account or friend
- Watch said screenshare
- Notice screenshare quality and smoothness doesn't look great
