Missing unread indicator in taskbar

Reproduction steps

Use KDE or Gnome (I only tested these two)
Enable unread message batch in fluxer://settings/user?tab=notifications&section=notifications
Get a new message

Expected behaviour

The taskbar icon has a red dot or something like that, to show that you have a unread message

Actual behaviour

It shows nothing
