Notification sound for messages still plays despite me having the sound for message notifications turned off on android mobile app

simply have the Fluxer Android app installed on their Android devices and receive a DM message from another user while having the volume notifications dialed up and while not being onlone on Fluxer on other devices so the notification won't disappear before it gets to the android device

That i don't hear DM message notification sound on the Fluxer android app whenever i receive a Fluxer DM given that i have toggled off the sound for notifications on the notification settings on Fluxer

As stated above, the Fluxer app on Android notification sounds for DM messages still plays despite me having the sound for message notifications turned off in the Fluxer android app settings
