car voice calls crash Fluxer if BLUETOOTH_CONNECT is disabled

Reproduction steps

  1. start a car
  2. connect to it with Bluetooth
  3. join a call with one other person

Expected behaviour

the call continues to work

Actual behaviour

the app crashes and the call stops working, although the call is still technically going on

Hi, can you please add the following additional info to your report so others can attempt to reproduce the issue more accurately?
  • Your app build string - you can obtain this by tapping the build string at the bottom of the settings menu, then paste it here
  • What kind of car? Does it use Android Auto or something custom?
  • What do you mean exactly by disabling BLUETOOTH_CONNECT?
