Return to message after pressing on a reply

I often press on a message's reply header in order to read the context and then wish to go back to the original message to continue reading. Currently the button always takes me at the bottom of the chat or first unread message, meaning I have to scroll back up to where I was.

The button should take me back to the original message I pressed on. Ideally this would work with multiple consecutive replies too.
