Searched threads in the forward modal don't stay on top when checked

Reproduction steps

Click the forward button on a message
Enter some search term to find a channel
Click to check the box next to the channel. Note that it stays at the top of the list, while the search bar automatically clears.
Enter some search term to find a thread
Click to check the box next to the thread. Note that it does not stay visible in the modal.

Expected behaviour

I expected selected threads to behave the same as channels. Stay on top after being checked.

Actual behaviour

Threads don't stay on top
