Fast delete and edit messages with shortcut

I feel like the action takes a little while to execute. Shift-left clicking the trash icon skips confirmation, but it’s still a bit of a hassle and feels slow. And the same goes for when editing a message.

Delete messages by holding shift and left-click while the cursor is over the message. And, if possible, add an option to customize these shortcuts, in case some users don’t get used to them.
