Sending an image on iOS mobile increases the file size drastically

Reproduction steps

  1. Take a photo
  2. Send that photo on Fluxer. It can be in a group chat, a DM, or the Personal Notes section. Even in the send preview, a bigger file size is displayed.
Tested with iPhone 16 Pro Max with the settings: Settings -> Camera -> Formats Camera Capture: Most Compatible Photo Mode: 24 MP ProRAW & Res Control: Enabled Pro Default: JPEG Max

Expected behaviour

The file size stays consistent, or even smaller due to compression.

Actual behaviour

The file size is inflated by 3-4x.
