Channel list disappears upon entering the app

Can you reproduce this?

Reproduction steps

  1. Open the mobile app. You will find yourself in the last channel you were in last time.
  2. Look at the channel list.

Expected behaviour

The channel list displays a list of available channels to click on. The names of the channels are visible.

Actual behaviour

The area with the channel list does not contain any visible text. However, clicking anywhere on the channel list takes me to whichever channel would have been there, which means that the channel list is functional. Merely the names of the channels are buggy. Going to my profile in the bottom right corner and then switching back to the server and its channel list resolves this, however the described issue appears again every time I close and reopen the app.

I have seen this happen before, but these reproduction steps are not consistent. If someone could figure out a way to consistently reproduce this issue that would be awesome!

i hope this helps: i start the app, go to a server, enter any channel there, close the app completely, and then open the app again, which shows me the last channel i was viewing. then, i swipe to try to see the channel list in that same server, and it's blank. If the app is started outside of the server (showing dms list), it's fine. this issue appears only when the channel is loaded by itself, as the very first thing i see upon entering the app
