Threads with activity are not visible when a category is collapsed

Reproduction steps

  1. Create a thread in a channel that is inside a category.
  2. Collapse the category.
  3. Wait for activity in the thread.
  4. Observe that the thread is not visible.

Expected behaviour

The thread should be visible when there is activity and the category its associated channel is in is collapsed.

Actual behaviour

Threads with activity are not visible until the category is expanded.
