itle: macOS Intel (x64): startup fails, mac-app-audio can’t load libswiftCoreMedia.dylib (missing /usr/lib/swift rpath) Environment Fluxer 2026.1006.171735 (stable, installed via Homebrew cask) macOS Darwin 25.6.0, Intel x86_64 (Mac Pro) Electron 44.4.1, Node 24.21.0 What happens Startup fails at the native module preflight: @fluxer/mac-app-audio: module require threw code=ERR_DLOPEN_FAILED Library not loaded: @rpath/libswiftCoreMedia.dylib Referenced from: .../app.asar.unpacked/node_modules/@fluxer/mac-app-audio/mac-app-audio.darwin-x64.node Reason: tried: '.../Electron Framework.framework/Versions/A/Libraries/libswiftCoreMedia.dylib' (no such file), '/Applications/Fluxer.app/Contents/Frameworks/libswiftCoreMedia.dylib' (no such file) Cause mac-app-audio.darwin-x64.node links @rpath/libswiftCoreMedia.dylib but has no LC_RPATH for /usr/lib/swift, so dyld only searches the app bundle. The otool -L install name shows it was built on the arm64 runner (fluxer-desktop-macos-arm64/.../x86_64-apple-darwin/release), so the cross-compiled x64 link probably lost the Swift rpath that the arm64 build gets. Suggested fix Add -Wl,-rpath,/usr/lib/swift to the x86_64 link of mac-app-audio, or check the x64 build with otool -l ... | grep -A2 LC_RPATH in CI. Workaround Running install_name_tool -add_rpath /usr/lib/swift on the x64 .node file and re-signing ad hoc gets past the error. Also noticed The Homebrew cask lists the same sha256 for the arm and intel downloads, which may point to a packaging or version mismatch on pkgs.fluxer.com.
