Edit history

Discussions sometimes flow into threads naturally, and sometimes a thread takes on a life of its own. A thread may become active/popular enough that it makes sense to just turn it into a permanent channel. I've seen this occasionally done back on Discord, but no direct conversion method means the conversation history before the "conversion" gets lost or split off into an archive.

I would like request a feature where a community moderator or admin could directly convert an existing thread into a channel while preserving all of the conversation history.
