[Visual bug] Screenshare audio capture is always checked, even if you unchecked it before screenshare

(#3883) Bug Open: Needs triage desktop video voice

Reproduction steps

  1. (Optional) Install Helvum or a equivalent app to observe the audio connections as each step is taken. Without this, you'll need a second user or device to verify whether the audio is coming out the other end.
  2. Join a voice channel
  3. Click the button to "Share your screen"
  4. Before selecting any screen, click the gear the bottom right
  5. Uncheck the box that says "Capture entire system audio" or "Capture app audio"
  6. Select a screen or app to share
  7. Click the screenshare button again

Expected behaviour

The audio sharing options selected should have persisted into actually starting the screenshare. If I chose to not check the box to share audio, then audio should not be shared after starting screenshare.

Actual behaviour

After starting the screenshare, the box is checked. However, this is just a visual bug. If you observe the actual pipewire connections with an app like Helvum, you'll see that the screenshare audio option was actually respected. In this scenario, to then turn on screenshare audio, one must uncheck and re-check the "Share stream audio" box. It is possible this issue occurs for other platforms, but I cannot confirm them myself.
