Chat profile picture does not change to your per-community chosen selection

I changed my profile picture to the setting "Don't show" in a community profile.
I expected my chat profile picture to show up the same as my profile picture in the profile window. But instead, my chat profile picture still shows my global profile picture.
Steps to reproduce
Have Plutonium.
Set your profile picture to "Don't show" for a guild.
Send a message.
Watch as you see your global profile picture in chat, and your 'default' profile picture only shows up if you open up your community profile.
