Observed behaviour
When attempting to stream on the latest desktop canary client on linux [I'm on cachyos with KDE], the stream times out for all other participants most of the time. When I restart my stream multiple times, sometimes it works after some time spent loading.
Often times, even when the stream itself is having this issue and is displaying a loading icon, others can hear ones stream audio though.
I tested on the same linux machine in a web browser, as well as on a windows client, and there, streaming works normally. Note that I got the same behaviour on both fluxer.app as well as my selfhosted instance.
Reproduction steps
- Install the latest canary desktop client on linux
- Stream in a VC to at least one other participant
- Have a participant try to watch your stream
