Threads don't light up when new message received if community is muted

If you're a member of a thread and someone else sends a message in it, normally you would expect to to light up the same way a regular channel does, letting you know that a new message was sent, but this is not the case if you have the community muted.

1) mute a community 2) create a new thread 3) click off of it 4) have someone else send a message in the thread you created 5) ??? 6) the thread stays gray
