Ability to turn off “new” message indicator in side bar

I don’t really like the “NEW” message indicator when you scroll up and a community with a new message goes out of view. I’ve heard it’s possible to turn this off with some css but what about on iOS

It would be nice if there was a setting that just turned this off. Or it was off by default. The default fluxer experience should be as close to vanilla discord as possible for normies like me and anyone new I invite
