Switching Instances via fullscreen account switcher briefly shows "This is not the community you're looking for" error during switch

Observed behaviour

When another account is clicked in the fullscreen account switcher [this notably does not occur when using the popover quick switcher], during the process of loading into the other instance, an error screen appears for a fraction of a second. "This is not the community you're looking for"

Reproduction steps

  1. Add two accounts from different instances to the desktop app
  2. Use the fullscreen account switcher to move between them
