Cannot Access Start Menu after Sharing Screen

I am incapable of opening my Start Screen, alongside a few other taskbar features such as: the search bar, internet panel, or the Calendar/Time. The only things that do work are: the Task View button, the Show Hidden icons button, and my other apps that are pinned to the task bar. The buttons that do not work also do not work on my second monitor.

Simply join a VC, share screen, maybe wait like five or so minutes, and boom, cannot use start menu or other aforementioned buttons.
