Blocking a user freezes the app (kind of)

Observed behaviour

The channel is no longer responsive. If you press back and go to another channel you can resume using the app as normal, but while in that channel where you blocked a user, the app is no longer responsive to any inputs except the back button.

Reproduction steps

  1. Tap on a user you don't like
  2. Tap the 3 dots menu
  3. Block user
  4. Block user
  5. Press back or swipe down to dismiss their profile

Build information

Version 2026.10.100, Beta 2, Channel Beta, Build 2591, Android 16 (arm64), Device Google Pixel 9a, Locale en-US, Push fcm, Flutter 3.47.6, Dart 3.13.5

Expected behaviour Should be able to continue using the app normally.

Can reproduce CR: Version 2026.10.100, Channel ALPHA, Build 2587, Android 15 (arm64), Device OnePlus CPH2465, Locale en-GB, Push unifiedpush, Flutter 3.47.6, Dart 3.13.5 | NB: Most consistent if the blocked user has many messages on screen.
