Observed behaviour
When a community has a custom invite splash image and the Splash Card Alignment is set to "Centered", the splash image does not fully cover the viewport on the invite/registration page.
A strip of the underlying brand-primary background remains visible on the left side of the screen.
This is not related to the image resolution. The issue also occurs with high-resolution / 4K images.
Changing the Splash Card Alignment from "Centered" to "Right" makes the background image cover the viewport correctly. However, this also moves the invite/registration card to the right side of the screen.
As a result, there currently seems to be no way to have both:
- a correctly full-screen invite splash background
- and the invite card centered on the screen
Reproduction steps
- Create or open a community with a custom invite splash image.
- Set the community's Splash Card Alignment to "Centered".
- Create an invite link for the community.
- Open the invite link while logged out, preferably in a desktop browser/incognito window.
- Observe that the splash image does not fully cover the viewport and the underlying brand-primary background is visible as a strip on the left.
- Change the community's Splash Card Alignment to "Right".
- Reload the invite link.
- Observe that the splash image now covers the viewport correctly, but the invite/registration card is moved to the right side instead of remaining centered.

Evidence
Screenshot 1:
Splash Card Alignment = Centered
The invite card is correctly centered, but the splash image does not cover the full viewport. The underlying brand-primary background is visible on the left side.

Screenshot 2:
Splash Card Alignment = Right
The splash image now covers the viewport correctly, but the invite card is also moved to the right.

The same splash image is used in both screenshots. Changing only the Splash Card Alignment changes the behaviour.
Potentially relevant implementation detail:
The centered splash alignment appears to use a centered transform origin while the splash container itself is anchored to the right side of the viewport.
This may explain why the centered alignment leaves part of the background uncovered, while right alignment fills the viewport correctly.
