Observed behaviour

Each update can break the .appimage pinning

Reproduction steps

permanently install the .appImage pin the .appimage update the application and then the application changes the .desktop file

Stable Desktop 2026.1004.13532, Web 2026.1004.150214, Linux 7.2.7-ogc1.1.fc44.x86_64 (x64), Electron 44.4.1, Chrome 152.0.7977.78, Node 24.21.0, Locale fr

this update renamed the app's launcher id (from fluxer to app.fluxer.FluxerDesktop) as part of the new Linux global shortcuts work, so existing pins break once. unpin the old icon and pin Fluxer again from the app menu and it should stick across future updates. if you installed the AppImage with Gear Lever or AppImageLauncher, re-integrating it once picks up the new id.
