Observed behaviour
The line only gets highlighted up to right behind the emoji at the start of the line. A Shift+Left arrow is required to get over that first emoji.
This behavior might be related to the weirdness I reported in #3380.
Reproduction steps
- Start a new message with an emoji
- Type some stuff after
- With the cursor still at the end of the line, press Shift+Home
