Updated profile picture reverts after sending a message

Observed behaviour

After updating your pfp, then sending a message, the pfp reverts on your client. It seems to remain this way until a refresh, though breaks again when you send another message. This seems to affect all clients so might be backend issue.

Reproduction steps

(Optional) Send a message somewhere (this is just to have an easy reference to look for your pfp)
Change your profile picture
Observe your profile picture has updated
Send a message
