Observed behaviour
As far as I can tell, when the newest message has certain metadata and is unread it breaks message loading. If you send a new message and attempt the same thing it does not have the issue, however if you delete the new message and restart the app you can cause the same issue.
Reproduction steps
- (Unable to consistently reproduce on every channel, see attachments, but here is the most reproducabke way) mark a message unread in certain channels
- Switch over to a different channel then back
