JPEG XL images load slowly in full view

Observed behaviour

the jxl image takes substantially longer(sometimes ~30 seconds longer) than other formats of the same image size

Reproduction steps

receive a message containing a jxl(that you have not cached before)
click on the thumbnail to see the full view
wait until it appears

Canary Desktop 2026.828.171905, Web 2026.828.184549, Linux 7.1.9-artix1-2 (x64), Electron 42.10.0, Chrome 148.0.7778.280, Node 24.18.1, Locale en-GB

Details

Expected behaviour the image appears as quickly as other image formats of the same size

Can't reproduce CNR: Canary Desktop 2026.830.132530, Web 2026.829.224002, Windows 11 10.0.26200 (x64), Electron 42.10.0, Chrome 148.0.7778.280, Node 24.18.1, Locale en-GB
