Fluxer occasionally crashes the KDE Plasma desktop on Linux

Observed behaviour

a desktop restart caused by fluxer

Reproduction steps

I am on solus with plasma kde
type in a channel(not sure if it's related)
wait for a desktop restart and a notification

Expected behaviour no desktop restart to be caused by fluxer
