Copying an emote in the message draft pastes as a random default emoji

Observed behaviour

It pastes a random emoji and sometimes pastes as just a box with a question mark in it Note: It looks like a random emoji on the mobile app, but on the desktop app it looks like a rectangle  which according to google is a private-use character (U+E000)

Reproduction steps

  1. Type an emote and select it from the suggestions box (or select from emote picker)
  2. Select all the text and copy (or cut) it
  3. Remove the text (if copied)
  4. Paste the text from the clipboard
