Italics are not shown in DM message preview

Observed behaviour

Message preview only shows the text without any italics Note: bold and underline does show in the message preview

Reproduction steps

  1. DM someone a message with italics
  2. View preview of message in the DM list.

Build information

Canary Desktop 2026.614.190551, Web 2026.616.1249, macOS 15.7.7 (arm64), Electron 41.2.2, Chrome 146.0.7680.188, Node 24.14.1, Locale en-US
