Pings in hidden muted channels are difficult to find

Observed behaviour

The ping badge appears on the community but if you go to look at the community, the channel is still hidden so it seems like a ghost ping.

Reproduction steps

  1. Mute a channel
  2. In that community's settings, enable the option to Hide muted channels
  3. Have someone else ping you

Build information

Canary Desktop 2026.603.33821, Web 2026.605.11941, Linux 7.0.11-100.fc43.x86_64 (x64), Electron 41.2.2, Chrome 146.0.7680.188, Node 24.14.1, Locale en-US

Expected behaviour The channel should unhide to show you the ping, like on Discord. See attached image for example

Can reproduce CR, note: ping does appear in inbox under Mentions tab, behavior confirmed otherwise - Canary Desktop 2026.602.31138, Web 2026.605.11941, Linux 6.17.0-35-generic (x64), Electron 41.2.2, Chrome 146.0.7680.188, Node 24.14.1, Locale en-US
