Pinch to zoom is painfully slow

Observed behaviour

the zoom action is slow and seems to only zoom in the image by ~10% when your fingers reach the edge

Reproduction steps

  1. Get a trackpad (laptop, dedicated one or KDE connect)
  2. Open an attachment
  3. pinch to zoom

Canary Desktop 2026.527.223435, Web 2026.528.230134, Linux 7.0.9-205.fc44.x86_64 (x64), Electron 41.2.2, Chrome 146.0.7680.188, Node 24.14.1, Locale pt-BR

Details

Expected behaviour the zoom should be quick and precise, hitting a 100% zoom a bit before your fingers reach the edge of a trackpad
