Mentions can not send properly if the text is edited in a specific way

Observed behaviour

Only the mention inputted second actually mentions, the mention inputted first gets sent as plain text

Reproduction steps

  1. Type in text a mention using @
  2. Move the text cursor back to the start of the message using arrow keys
  3. Type in another mention using @
