Observed behaviour
With a long enough title and narrow enough window, the topic becomes completely hidden and thus users cannot interact with it to read it. This is particularly noticeable on Voice channels because the titles are bold.
This probably isn't an issue in most cases, but if someone zooms in enough or has a low resolution screen, it could cause usability issues.
Reproduction steps
- Make a stupidly long channel name, like spamming an emoji until the character limit.
- Add some text to the channel topic, and save
- Put your client in windowed and narrow it until the topic is hidden
