Sending a message while scrolled up does not automatically scroll to the bottom

Observed behaviour

The message sends, but chat is not scrolled.

Reproduction steps

  1. Scroll up in a chat that has some messages
  2. Send a message

Build information

Canary 783 (c71cae2), Host 0.0.225, Linux 7.0.7-100.fc43.x86_64 (x64), Electron 41.2.2, Chrome 146.0.7680.188, Node 24.14.1, Locale en-US

Details

Expected behaviour After sending the message, the chat should automatically scroll back to the bottom. This behavior would be in line with how Discord treats this case.

Can reproduce
  • Behaviour replicated on Canary build 223 as well. - Canary 783 (c71cae2), Host 0.0.223, Linux 7.0.7-arch2-1 (x64), Electron 41.2.2, Chrome 146.0.7680.188, Node 24.14.1, Locale en-GB
