Unable to create Passkey on MacOS

Observed behaviour

The password prompt closes and nothing appears. Replicating this on a Windows based machine works, but no success on MacOS.

Reproduction steps

  1. Open User settings.
  2. Go to Security and Login tab.
  3. Click "Add passkey" under the Passkeys section.
  4. Enter your password/2FA code and click Verify.

Build information

canary build 664 (d3ccc95), Electron 41.2.2, macOS 26.4.1 (arm64), desktop canary 0.0.167, locale en-GB

Expected behaviour A passkey prompt should appear allowing you to save your passkey.
