Summary
When I switch from a channel that I have voice permission in to another channel where I do not have voice permission, I become muted, but the UI continues to render as unmuted.
Steps to reproduce
- Navigate to a community with a voice channel that you have voice permission in, and another voice channel that you do not have voice permission in.
- Join the voice channel that you have voice permission in.
- Ensure you are unmuted.
- Join the voice channel that you do not have voice permission in.
- Observe that the UI renders as unmuted.
As some extra steps to validate the issue:
- While in the voice channel that you do not have voice permission in, attempt to mute and then unmute.
- Observe that the UI will switch to muted, but will not let you switch back to unmuted.
Also:
- Perform steps 1-5 to join the channel again with your microphone rendering as unmuted.
- Join from the channel from a separate client / device.
- Observe that speaking will not transmit audio (the bug is entirely visual)
