Observed behaviour
Instead, the search filter list took priority of Home and End, so pressing either key just went to the top or bottom of the search filter list.
Reproduction steps
- Perform a search using any search filter
- Click somewhere else to change keyboard focus
- Click the search bar again to give it keyboard focus - the search filters should now appear even while there is text inside the search field
- Press Home or End

Expected behaviour
In step 4 above, I expected Home and End to take me to the beginning and end, respectively, of my search query.
