Aspect ratio of video embed is not handled correctly

Observed behaviour

The aspect ratio of the thumbnail is stretched, and the aspect ratio of the embed video container is taller than the actual video.

Reproduction steps

  1. Post this sample video: cat.mp4
  2. Play the video in the embed preview.

Observed behaviour

The thumbnail is stretched and the playing video has black borders.

Reproduction steps

  1. Attach this sample video to a message: cat.mp4
  2. Upload the message.
  3. Click on the video embed and watch it play.

Can reproduce CR: seems like it's a weird aspect ratio 1280x700. canary build 633 (af9fc11), Electron 41.2.2, Linux 6.19.14-200.fc43.x86_64 (x64), desktop canary 0.0.131, locale en-US
