Right-Click Paste Not Working on Desktop App

Summary

When I attempt to paste text into the desktop app using my mouse by right-clicking and choosing paste, nothing is pasted into the channel. This goes for text or images.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Copy an image or some text from a browser.
  2. Click into a channel as if you were going to type and send a message.
  3. Right click into the text writing area and choose Paste.

Environment (optional)

Linux Mint 22.3 Cinnamon, Kernal 6.17.0-14-generic

Status changed from Fixed to Awaiting confirmation
This was closed in a bulk cleanup before Fluxer V2 without being checked or fixed. It may work now, so it is waiting for someone to confirm whether the bug still happens.

If you right click with your mouse, there is a paste option. If the functionality wasn't intended, that wouldn't be there. So, this is a bug. It just has a workaround.
