Scrolling from old messages to load more recent ones repeats messages that were scrolled past

Observed behaviour

The client 'jumps' up to a part in the message history you already scrolled past.

Reproduction steps

  1. Go to an earlier point in time in a channel or DM history.
  2. Start scrolling downwards.
  3. When the client tries to load more messages, either stop or keep scrolling.

canary build 581 (d3c4550), Electron 41.2.2, Linux 7.0.3-arch1-2 (x64), desktop canary 0.0.119, locale en-GB

Can reproduce CR. Doesn't happen all the time, so insisting will let you go through, but it does happen regularly. canary build 582 (24ae85d), Electron 41.2.2, Linux 7.0.3-1-cachyos-bore-lto (x64), desktop canary 0.0.119, locale fr

Can reproduce CR, Sometimes this happens when scrolling up too - canary build 583 (5ce2586), Electron 41.2.2, macOS 26.3.1 (arm64), desktop canary 0.0.120, locale en-US
