Text-to-speech playback sample says it is unavailable in my browser. Seems to only be a problem on desktop client

Observed behaviour

The Play sample button is disabled, as in the attached screenshot.

Reproduction steps

  1. Navigate to Settings > Accessibility > Text-to-speech
Note: this seems to work correctly in the browser on both stable and canary. Canary build given here: canary build 577 (49be171), Firefox 150.0, Linux (x64), locale en-US

Can reproduce CR on desktop canary and canary web (Chromium and Firefox). canary build 578 (30a0430), Electron 41.2.2, Linux 7.0.3-1-cachyos-bore-lto (x64), desktop canary 0.0.119, locale fr
