Categories in "Favorites" not shown if no favorite channels are added

Observed behaviour

Categories are not visible at all until a favorite channel is added.

Reproduction steps

  1. With no channels added to your favorites, right-click the Favorites panel and create a category
  2. The category you created will not be shown in the Favorites panel and no feedback is provided to indicate that the category was created.
  3. The category will only appear once a channel is added to your Favorites.

Expected behaviour Even if there are no channels added, categories should be visible but empty.

Can reproduce CR: canary build 560 (a3d4449), Electron 41.2.2, Windows 11 10.0.26200 (x64), desktop canary 0.0.114, locale en-GB
