Delete message button is unresponsive when triggered from inside the media viewer

Observed behaviour

The "Delete message" button is completely unresponsive and fails to delete the message when clicked from inside the media viewer.

Reproduction steps

  1. Open an image or video attachment in full screen from a chat channel. (You must have permission to delete messages)
  2. Tap three dots while inside the media viewer.
  3. Tap on "Delete message"

Version 2026.10.100, Beta 2, Channel Beta, Build 591, Android 13 (arm64), Device Xiaomi 21061110AG, Locale en-US, Push fcm, Flutter 3.47.6, Dart 3.13.5

Expected behaviour Tapping "Delete message" from the media viewer options menu should successfully trigger the deletion prompt and delete the message.

  1. Rex changed the status from Needs triage to Confirmed
  2. Elias changed the status from Confirmed to In progress
  3. Elias changed the status from In progress to Awaiting confirmation
  4. Elias changed the status from Awaiting confirmation to Fix pending
