Observed behaviour

Sample read at super-human speeds

Reproduction steps

  1. Access the Text-to-Speech in Settings > Accessibility > Text-to-speech
  2. Play the sample at it's default x1.0 speed

Build information

Version 1.0.0, Beta 65, Channel Beta, Build 2459, Android 16 (arm64), Device samsung SM-S918U1, Locale en-US, Push fcm, Flutter 3.47.4, Dart 3.13.3

Platform

Details

Expected behaviour sample should be read slower, equivalent to the speed around x0.5, and the same speed as in the PWA

Can reproduce CR; My default text-to-speech (I think) was at 0.5, but yes, at 1.0 it sounds "fast?" - Version 1.0.0, Beta 65, Channel Beta, Build 2459, Android 13 (arm64), Device Xiaomi 21061110AG, Locale en-US, Push fcm, Flutter 3.47.4, Dart 3.13.3

Can't reproduce CNR, 1.0 reads at the same speed as desktop/pwa for me - Version 1.0.0, Beta 65, Channel Beta, Build 72, iOS 27.0 (arm64), Device iPhone16,1, Locale en-US, Push apns, Flutter 3.47.4, Dart 3.13.3

Can reproduce CR: Version 1.0.0, Channel Canary, Build 2484, Android 15 (arm64), Device OnePlus CPH2465, Locale en-GB, Push fcm, Flutter 3.47.5, Dart 3.13.4

Can no longer reproduce doc im from the future, i came here in a time machine you invented, now i need your help to get back to the year 1985 Version 2026.09.100, Beta 1, Channel Beta, Build 2497, Android 16 (arm64), Device samsung SM-S918U1, Locale en-US, Push fcm, Flutter 3.47.5, Dart 3.13.4
